We have developed a building process for outdoor tubs using our signature hardwoods. We call it Strong Cell Construction. Outdoor tubs can be built of either Teak or Ipe and these woods can be left unsealed in order to weather alongside a surrounding deck. If preferred, the wood can be DeepSealed™ allowing the use of soaps and bath additives. When sealed, the tub should be protected by a cover when not in use. Our Strong Cell technique means that the hardwood can expand and contract with changes in humidity without threatening the integrity of the tub.
